The GEM210 Creative Weekend 2025 was a time set apart for artists, writers, musicians, creators, and visionaries to gather together in a cabin in Upstate New York for a weekend dedicated to developing and nurturing their God-given creativity.

 

One of the foundational principles of GEM210 Ministries — God’s Expression of Art in Me — is the restoration of the arts as a means of glorifying God. We believe creativity is a gift from God and that our artistic expressions can be used with purpose, excellence, and intention.

 

Throughout the weekend, participants dedicated time and space to write, create, develop existing projects, explore new ideas, collaborate, and strengthen their creative gifts. Away from the distractions of everyday life, the cabin setting provides an opportunity to slow down, focus, and give meaningful attention to the creative work that God has placed within us.

 

The weekend was not simply a retreat from our normal routines—it was  an opportunity to invest in the gift. Whether developing a book, music, visual art, ministry project, film, or another creative work, participants are encouraged to arrive ready to create and leave having made tangible progress.

At GEM210, we believe the arts belong in the Kingdom.
